Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 29.50; shade temperature, maximum 52.4, .minimum 40.6; terrestrial, 33; sunshine, 2 hours; rain, 52 points. Mr H. M. Bodclington reports that 54 points of rain fell al Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. j PHASES OF THE MOON.
