FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE PARTY HELD BY FIRE BRIGADE. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a fair attendance at the Fire Brigade's weekly euchre party. The winners were: Ladies, Mrs Revan I, Mrs Worsley 2: men, Mr R. Rasmussen 1 J. Cross and Mrs Sim. equal 2. Personal Items. Mrs Charles and Mrs Lowe have left on a visit to Thames. A very pleasant time was spent recently at the residence of Mr and Mrs W. Sutherland, Kahutara, when a number of friends gathered to entertain Lance-Corporal L. G. Fenwick. A competition was won by Mrs Pope and Mr Fenwick. Musical items were given by Mrs Walker. Mr D. Sutherland. Mrs Fenwick. Mr W. Sutherland and Miss Stansell. During the evening a presentation was made to Lance-Corporal Fenwick.
