Needs of the World.

Yesterday afternoon at the Masterton Y.M.C.A. rooms Mr E. .1. Salisbury spoke on the needs of the world, the nation, and the individual. The universal principle of Psalm 107 was emphasised in that it pointed out God’s readiness in days passed to help "Men." and the same applied today. The world in its darkness could only recover by turning to Christ. The ardour, now almost lapsed into obscurity, of the early pioneers of this land, who. when arriving in the country set about the establishment of churches and places of worship, feeling these to be an essential to their well-being, was referred to. Individual needs, he said, were to be supplied only by a personal turning to God's mercy and a following of the example set by Jesus Christ. A parade of the B Company. E.P.S.. will be held at 7 o’clock this evening in the Municipal Hall.
