"In Cyrenaica, South African fighters machine-gunned a number of enemy aircraft on the landing; ground at Gambitt. destroying throe of them.' "Benghazi was raided during the night of June 2 and large fires were started c.n moles and among militaVy buildings. I "A petrol dump al Beirut, in Syria?, was bombed and machine-gunned by our aircraft yesterday. “Enemy positions in Abyssinia, particularly at Debarech, were attacked. From all these operations one of our aircraft, is missing. Two aircraft reported missing in communiques of June 2 and June 3 are now known to have returned safely to their bases."
