An Independent French Agency message from Istanbul states that the German High Command has ordered an examination of the .shoulders of Cretan women, to see whether they bear bruises and marks as a result of a rifle having been carried. If marks are found, the women will be summarily shot. All Greeks -of Cretan origin living in Greece are being sent to a concentration camp at Laoia. Manj' well-known Greeks have been arrested.
