WOMEN’S WELFARE LEAGUE

VISIT TO BUCHANAN HOME. When members of the Masterton Women’s National Welfare League paid a visit to the Buchanan Home at Greytown Ihe entertainers were Mrs Coleman. Mrs Gooding. Miss Jean Douglas, and Mr Harry Hall, who were encored several times. A community 7 sing was held, the nurses of the Home assisting. The car drivers were Mrs Wardell. Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Reynolds. Other visitors were Mesdames Kilgour, Drummond, Hunter, Brown and Carruthers and Miss Allen. The Matron (Miss Higginson) thanked members of the Welfare League for having provided such an excellent programme.
