LIKELY TO BE BRIEF
SITTING OF PARLIAMENT NEXT WEEK. SECRET SESSION ON TUESDAY NIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The session of Parliament which is to be resumed on Tuesday is not likely to last long. When Parliament adjourned on March 27 it was decided to meet again on, June 25 unless some emergency or unforeseen development made it desirable to reassemble sooner. In view of. the situation in the Middle East, the announcement by the ActingPrime Minister, Mr Nash,, that he had arranged for Parliament to meet on Tuesday came as no great surprise. The intention is to take formal business; on Tuesday afternoon and to hold u secret session that night for a discussion of the war situation. This part of the session is not expected to last more than a few days, and the House is likely to adjourn again within the week. Mr Nash stated yesterday, that the only legislation, contemplated at thi» stage was an. Imprest Supply Bill. There is to be a caucus of the Government party on Tuesday morning.
