GOLF TOURNEY
WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP. E. HENDERSON SUCCESSFUL. Playing consistently well. E. Henderson won the Wairarapa championship conducted by the Masterton Golf Club on the Lansdowne Links during the weekend. In the final yesterday afternoon he defeated R. B. Cameron two up and one to play. Both players incidentally, had headed the list of those who qualified with scores of 77 each. The proceeds of the tournament will be donated for patriotic purposes. Other results were:— Masterton Handicap: Semi-finals Broad beat Paku: H. R. Falloon beat Mackie. Final: Falloon boat Broad. Fourball bogey: E. L. Nitz and R. Weston 8 up. First flight: C. Larsen. Second flight: F. Candy. Third flight: R. Page.
RIVERSIDE FURTHER WEEKEND RESULTS. Further results of games played during the weekend by members of th< Riverside Golf Club are: Slablcford round: R. Hatch 11 points Medal round: S. Wyatt 67 net. Bogey round: R. Wearne 1 down.
