IN AIR ATTACKS ON LONDON DURING MONTH OF MAY. RECORD DESTRUCTION OF NAZI RAIDERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. During May, when a record number of enemy night-bombers were destroyed, London experienced the fewest raids since extensive blitzing began. Warnings sounded only on twelve occasions, three of which were on one night. There were 21 raidless nights. Since the outbreak of war London has had 560 warnings, totalling 1.459 hours.
