About thirty friends gathered at the Blairlogie Hotel last evening to entertain Sergeants T. C. H, Miller, Lambert Roach and Gunner H. M. A. Major. Mi E. G. Norman presided and Mr N. G. F. Whiteman proposed the toast of the guests. Major-General Sir Andrew Russell. K. K.C.M.G., Inspector-General of the New Zealand Military Forces, is paying an official visit to the Auckland district.
