Brilliant jumping by Foxiana in the I Century Hurdles and by Lady Callaghan in the Wanganui Steeplechase, Ji featured the wins of these two horses 1 n the principal events on the opening " day of the Wanganui winter meeting held at Awapuni on Saturday. Both winners led practically from end to end. The first day of the Napier Park meeting was held in summer-like weather before a good attendance. The track was firm.
