WOMEN’S ACTIVITIES SCHEME TO BE EXTENDED. ANNOUNCEMENT BY MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day, The extension of the activities of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force to the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Harewood, was announced by the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, in an interview last evening. This is to be followed by postings from the auxiliary to the Wigram Station and later still to the Ground Training School, Levin.
