AIR FORCE PLANE
REPORTED MISSING. ON FLIGHT FROM BLENHEIM TO OTAKI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Air Headquarters announced last night that a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft and its occupant, Leading Aircraftsman Selwyn Allan Sinclair, wore missing. The airman was on a cross-country flight from Blenheim to Stephens Island. Otaki and back to Blenheim. He was due back at Blenheim at 11.15 a.m, yesterday, but failed to arrive. A number of aircraft went out to search, and they returned at dusk without result.
