OF REVOLT IN IRAQ PREDICTED BY MR EDEN. SOME CAPTURES BY BRITISH FORCES. LONDON. May 29. In Iraq British forces have captured a position half-way between Falluja and Bagdad. Ninety-three Iraqui rebels have been taken prisoner in an-engagement east of Falluja. Another British force is advancing from Basra. Rebel troops numbering 2,000, north-west of Habbania, are being pounded by British forces. Mr Anthony Eden speaking in London, said that very soon Iraq should be rid of its self-appointed dictator. Many.of his followers had already fled. Mr Eden also referred to the possibility of greater unity in the Arab world and said the British Government was sympathetic with Syria's desire for independence.
