Newland, Leslie Joseph. Mother, Mrs F. Newland. Masterton. O’Connor, David Thomas. Father, Mr F. M. O’Connor. Masterton. Palmer, James. Father, Mr R. W. Palmer, Masterton. Pressing, Roy McNeil. Mother, Mrs A. A'. Pressing, Martinborough.
George London, who is among the missing, is Mayor of Petone, who was re-elected unopposed at the recent elections. AIR FORCE ONE MISSING & TWO PRISONERS. WELLINGTON, This Day. The following Air Force casualties were announced today: — Pilot Officer Stuart Charles Niven, missing in operational flight. Father, Mr S. Niven, Wellington. Sergeant James Clark, previously reported missing, now reported prisoner of war. Mother, Mrs M. Clark, Auckland. Sergeant John Roland Fry, previously reported missing, now reclassified prisoner of war. Father, Mr R. E. Fry. Auckland.
