“LAMBETH WALK." The final screening of the "Lambeth Walk" takes place this evening. "RIVER’S END." "River's End," described as the greatest story from the action-jammed pen cl' James Oliver Curwood. is to be shown at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night. It unfolds a tale of the Northwest Mounted Police. Starring Dennis Morgan and George Tobias, the film takes movie-goers back to River's End, the Dodge City of the North,’ where Sergeant Conniston solved the strangest case in the history of the Mounted Police. Columbia’s new horror spectacle, "The Man They Could Not Hang," is the associate feature. Convicted and hung for murder, a man is revived and walks among the living, encountering thrilling and highly dramatic adventures. Boris Karloff gives a distinctive and sterling characterisation as •‘The Man They Could Not Hang." while prominent in the supporting cast are Roger Pryor, who returns to the screen after an absence of some time. Robert Wilcox, Lorna Gray and Ann Doran.
