AIR REPRISALS
4 ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY'S VIEWS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON. May 27. The Archbishop of Canterbury, in a speech in the House of Convocation, said air reprisals would not shorten the war but only embitter the passion of German people and stiffen their determination to increase the savagery of German attacks and achieve nothing.
