AIR FORCE RELATIONS

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. PATRIOTIC ACTIVITIES. At the monthly meeting of the AirForce Relations Committee, the.following members were present: —Mesdames H. J. W. Lord (in the chair), P. Nathan, S. J. Gill. J. A. Betts. L. Gray. An apology for absence was received from Mrs G. W. Sellar. The Masterton Branch of Air Force Relations, which was formed in April last, has forwarded to date 2408 tins of food and 909 knitted garments. Helpers are urged to keep up a steady supply of the necessary goods, which are forwarded on the 20th of every month. In the April report from headquarters it is slated: —"There is still a lot of difficulty in getting knitters to keep to Aii- Force Relations patterns. Scarves particularly are sent in many inches too short, and balaclavas too are made short in the neck, even if the earphones pattern is made. The committee thank all those who have worked so readily and consistently throughout the year, and also the following helpers and donors of tinned food for this month's packing:—Mesdames Adams. Anon.
