Mr Sullivan, has been appointed to a position with the Internal Marketing Division in Dunedin was confirmed yesterday by the Minister of Marketing. Mr Barclay. Mr Roy Sullivan has been in business for some years as a fruiterer in Opawa. •Replying to questions. Mr Barclay denied reports that Mr Roy Sullivan was taking "Up an executive position with the department. When current reports of the salary to be paid the appointee were mentioned, the Minister replied: “The salary is not half of the amount stated.” The Minister was also asked if the position was advertised—and if so, he was asked to name the newspapers and journals. "Mr Sullivan was appointed to the position because of his special knowledge and aptitude for the work he is required to undertake,” Mr Barclay replied.
