MASTERTON CLUB RINK COMPETITION. — HENDRY'S TEAM LEADING. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club's rinks games are nearing completion. Hendry's rink is still leading with six wins, and Stains's rink is second with five wins and one loss. The following are last week's results: Finlayson beat Ihaka 30/16; Pickering beat Fenton 26/12; Roff beat Leigh 18/14; Joyce beat Walker 20/13; Hendry beat Finlayson 24/14; Leigh beat Fenton 21/14; Stains beat Joyce 28/14; Edwards beat Ihaka 21/18. This week’s fixtures are as follows:— Tuesday, 7 p.m., No. 1, Walker v Roff. No. 2. Finlayson v Joyce; 8.30, No. 1. Fenton v Ihaka, No. 2, Pickering v Stains. Wednesday, 7 p.m.. No. 1, Stains v Leigh, No. 2. Roff v Edwards. 8.30 p.m.. No. 1 Hendry v Joyce, No. 2, Ferns challenge, Stears and Pickering (s), holders, v McGill and Finlavson (s). Thursday, 7 p.m., No. 1. Walker v Ihaka, No. 2, Vacant; 8.30 p.m., No. 1, Fenton v Hendry, No. 2. Finlayson v Edwards.
