AERIAL GATECRASHER
When a German aeroplane was brought down intact in England it was decided to display the machine in aid of the Spitfire Fund. When the exhibition was to be opened two workmen crawled under the awning for a free view. ' A foreman saw then coming out and asked what they were doing. "Oh." they replied, "having a preview, as it were." They said it was an excellent show. They particularly liked the big bomb so realistically placed beside the Messerschmitt. "What are you talking about?” said the foreman, there's no bomb.’’ Oh yes there was, they said. In alarm the foreman investigated. There was a bomb. II had fallen during the night and lav by the plane, unexploded.
