The judicial committee of the South Canterbury Jockey Club has received notification that a gentleman rider's certificate has not yet been issued to Mr G. H. Paul, rider of Norse in the Duke of Gloucester Cup race.

It was resolved that Norse, winner of the cup, bo disqualified for the race under rule 142, subsection 1, and rule 263, sections 1 and 2, and that Auctor bo placed first, Taxpayer second, and Fundy Bay third. It is understood an appeal to the district committee is likely.
