SOLDIER TEACHERS
POSITIONS NOT TO BE FILLED BY OBJECTORS. CANTERBURY PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. No conscientious objectors or pacifists exempted from military service will be eligible for positions carrying higher salaries, and temporarily vacated by soldier teachers, if the Education Department acts on a proposal adopted by the Canterbury Education Boai’d today.
