BIG INCREASE IN BRITISH OUTPUT. IN SPITE OF AIR RAIDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 22. Despite air raids, the output of tanks and guns in the first quarter of 1941 was fifty per cent higher than in the December quarter, which was the best of last year.
