SKILLED MEN
RELEASE FROM BRITISH ARMY. FOR IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRY. (Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, May 22. Skilled men will be released from the (army in England, to work in tire iron : and steel industry, which needs 30,000 !men. A section of the Cabinet has hitherto strongly resisted Mi' Ernest (Bovin’s efforts to persuade his colleajgues that a substantial number of soldiers could bo more usefully employed in Die industry.
