NAVY LEAGUE
LOCAL AUXILIARY BUSY. PARCELS PACKED FOR SEAMEN. The committee of the Masterton Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Navy League packed a large quantity of goods donated for the Mission to Seamen yesterday afternoon. The gifts included two overcoats and other articles of clothing, a guitar, a large number of gramophone records, playing cards, books, magazines, etc., all of which should bo much appreciated by the seamen. The committee desire to thank the following:—Mcsdames P. 11. Nathan, S. Fletcher, E. Sortain Smith. S. R. Gawith, O. A. Bunny, W. A. Michael. H. McKenzie Douglas, Dodds, C. J. Bennett. A. Caselberg, D. M. Graham, B. D. Holmwood, D. Buchanan. the Misses Maunsell, Gordon, I. Barton, B.' Barton, L. Harrison, Cameron. Sellar and Messrs L. D. Wales and P. Norman, and the donors of anonymous parcels.
