“HISTORIC ACTION”
AWAITED IN SPAIN SIGNIFICANCE OF CABINET CHANGES. WAY PAVED FOR FASCIST CONTROL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) MADRID. May 21. The Falangist journal, "Arriba." commenting on the recent Government changes, says: "They pave the way for an historic action which we await." The “Arriba" welcomes the changes as stabilising the internal situation, and declares they have resulted in the Falangists controlling propaganda, Press, censorship and education. A Reuter message says that all Spanish newspapers, party and nonparty. are to come under Falangist control by a law announced after last night’s meeting of the Cabinet.
