SALVATION ARMY

WELCOME TO RELIEVING OFFICERS. There was a large attendance at the Salvation Army Citadel, Masterton, last night when a welcome was extended to Major and Mrs O. E. Ranson, of Petone. who have taken over the local corps during the absence of Major Neeve on sick leave. A warm welcome was extended to the new officers by many speakers which included Mrs O. R. Fairbrother (representing the ladies of the corps). Major Dick (Whatman Home). Captain Maddisoii (Songster Brigade). Mr Leighton (band), and Mrs Dick (Home League). Mrs Wylie contributed, a vocal solo. Major and Mrs Ranson returned thanks.
