PORT OF DAKAR
MUST NOT FALL INTO NAZI HANDS. STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, May 21. At his Press conference in Washington yesterday, President Roosevelt said he considered it essential to United States interests that the French West African port of Dakar should not fall into Nazi hands.
