NIGHT BOMBING
NO PROPOSAL TO BE MADE TO GERMANY NO AGREEMENT PRACTICABLE WITH NAZIS. STATEMENT BY MR ATTLEE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY. May 21. The Lord Privy Seal, Mr C. R. Attlee, said in the House of Commons that the Government would not consider making any proposal to Germany for the abolition of night bombing. “In the view of the Government," he added, “it is not practicable to think we can come to any agreement with Germany.”
