NAZIS & VICHY

ANTICIPATION OF PARTIAL REVELATION RESULTS OF DARLAN TALKS. SOME REPORTED TERMS OF AGREEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.10 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. The “Daily Express” says a joint French-German announcement is expected in a few days as a result of the latest talks between Admiral Darlan and Axis leaders. This, however, is likely to uncover only the more innocuous parts of any new agreement. Full accord is reported to have ' been reached on the following terms:— “Firstly, Mussolini to abandon claims to Nice and Savoy. Secondly, Hitler, in return, to present Croatia to Mussolini. Thirdly, Darlan to admit Mussolini's title to the French colonies of Tunis and Corsica. Fourthly, Darlan to collaborate fully with Germany. The French-German collaboration which has already been exposed in Syria will be extended as circumstances dictate.
