RAILWAYMEN’S PAY

INCREASES IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless. I RUGBY. May 15. Railwaymen's wages have been increased under an award made by the Raiiwav Staff National Tribunal. The award 'provides that as from June 6 the existing special war advances shall be increased by 4s a week in the case of the adult male wage stall (making the total war advance Ils a week) and by £lO annually in the case of the adult male clerical supervisors and other salaried stall (making a total war advance of £2B a year), with proportionate increases for females and juniors.
