NINETY YEARS OLD

MR J. F. WARD. OF MASTERTON A resident of Masterton for 67 years. Mr J. F. Ward, of 20 Wrigley Street, will celebrate his 90th birthday tomorrow. He still enjoys fairly good health and takes a keen interest in town and other affairs. Mr Ward took up his residence in Masterton immediately after his arrival in New Zealand from England in 1874 and except for a visit to England in 1914 he has lived here ever since. Mr Ward is one of the oldest members of the Masonic Order in New Zealand, having joined the craft in Masterton 63 years ago. His twin brother was well known as "Windsor Clockic."
