Masterton Frost.

In Masterton this morning a frost of 9.2 degrees was registered. A Soldier’s Complaint. Mrs Tabor has directed that £lO.OOO is to be set aside and the income from it devoted to the benefit of the boys of Dr Barnardo's Homes in England. The fund is to be known as (he "George Tabor Fund" in memory of a son of Hie donor. A further sum of £lOOO is left to the Presbyterian orphanages in Wellington, and half of the residue of the estate, alter a number of private bequests have been satisfied. is to be a perpetual trust to provide income for (he missionary activities of the British and Foreign Bible Society in New Zealand.
