OFFICIALS WHO VISITED MR NATHAN. STATEMENT AT MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Five prominent , trade union officials were named by Mr H. L. Nathan. Citizens' candidate, for the Wellington Harbour Board, in his address at the Concert Chamber last night, as those who visited his office recently, and allegedly made certain threats. Mr Nathan said that when he first mentioned the matter in his speech at Kelburn he had intended to let it rest there, but since there had been anonymous telephone calls —one or two a day—to his office. They were not serious and had not worried him a bit. He had not intended to make public the names of the five labour union officials who had visited his office, but yesterday afternoon he had been told in the street that he was not game to announce the names. He then gave them, with the positions held by the five men. The Mayor. Mr Hislop, also referred to the incident and condemned the action of the men concerned in the strongest possible terms.
