HOLD=UP CONTINUES
AT BELFAST MEAT WORKS. STATEMENT BY COMPANY OFFICIAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. There was still no work on the chain at the Belfast works of Messrs Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., this morning. An official of the company said the company was not going to be subject to what the men wanted, and in the meantime the return to Christchurch from the south of the secretary of the Freezing Workers’ Union. Mr H. G. Kilpatrick, is awaited.
