ACCEPTANCE OF NAZI TERMS BY VICHY SUPPOSED CO-OPERATION WITH AXIS. ATTEMPT TO KEEP U.S.A. OUT OF WAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) VICHY, May 14. It is officially announced that Cabinet has unanimously approved Hitler's requirements in return for the recent concessions to Vichy. The effects of the negotiations will make themselves felt shortly. The 'Associated Press of Great Britain Vichy correspondent says Cabinet’s decision will prove a fateful act. The details of Hitler’s terms are still unrevealed, but some tire of opinion that they amount to co-operation with the Axis in a plan designed to keep the United States out of the war.
