GREYTOWN

LEAGUE OF MOTHERS MONTHLY MEETING YESTERDAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) Likewise in days of stress and toil, it is the little joys that count; the sudden unexpected blessings that gladden the heart with hope of happier days to come.”

Miss Henderson, who is now a resident of Greytown, gave a description of the B f.rmundsey slum area, London, where she taught for twelve months in a school. Miss Henderson appealed to the League of Mothers to write to Mr Winston Churchill expressing the hope that there would be a better standard of living for everyone after the war.
