ON SIZE OF AMERICAN ARMY GENERAL ARNOLD ON AIR CORPS. RAPIDLY GETTING READY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 12. The House of Representatives Military Affairs Committee approved legislation removing all statutory limits on the size of the Army. General Arnold, the Air Chief of Staff, asserted today that the Air Corps was rapidly getting ready for a trial by battle. The Senate Commerce Committee approved the Bill authorising the requisitioning of Foreign ships.
