MASTERTON CLUB. RINKS COMPETITION. Members of the Masterton Indoor Bowling Club have played further games in the rinks section, and all the teams are settling down to steady play, several games having been decided on the last head. The results of recent games are: —Stains beat Ihaka. 14/13; Roff beat Fenton, 20/17; Finlayson beat Pickering, 21/12; Hendry beat Edwards, 20/17; Joyce beat Edwards, 20/13; RofT beat Finlayson, 19/15; Hendry beat Walker, 24/12; Leigh beat Pickering, 17/11; Walker beat Stains, 23/17; Ihaka beat Joyce, 17/16. Stears and Pickering (s) withstood another challege for the Park Ferns, defeating Morgan and Fenton, 20 to 14. Only one night is available for play this week, and the following games have been, arranged:—Tuesday.—7 p.m.: No. 1, Stains v. Roff; No. 2, Leigh v. Walker. 8.30 p.m.: No. 1. Fenton v. Edwards; No. 2, Pickering v. Hendry.
