POWER STOPPAGE
THROUGHOUT NORTH OTAGO. CAUSED BY OPOSSUM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU. This Day. An opossum which entered the Weston electricity sub-station on Saturday evening caused a switch to blow out. resulting in the stoppage of power througout North Otago, for twenty minutes. The animal happened to stand on a rubber mat. when touching lhe switch, so it was not. killed.
