Miss Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.33. Shade temperature: Maximum 65.6, minimum 51.8, terrestrial 43.2. Sunshine, 1 hour 45 minutes. Rain, 8 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 11 ponits of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. Phases of the Moon: Full moon, May, 11, 5.15 p.m.; last quarter, May 18, 1.17 p.m.; new moon, May 26, 5.18 p.m. SUN. The sun rose today 7.18 a.m., sets 5.16 p.m.
