Miss M. Allan, Lansdowne, is visiting Auckland. ( Mr and Mrs J. E. Jenkins, Renall Street, are leaving today to spend a holiday at Paraparaumu Eeach. Mrs F. Palmer Chapman, Martinborough, has returned from a visit to her mother, Mrs H. C. Orbell, Christchurch. Mrs W. Langdon and .Miss Enid Langdon, Hawke’s Bay, spent a few days with Miss Butement, Essex Street, before going to Palmerston North.
Miss Jean Cavaghan, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs A. P. Bennett, Essex Street. Miss Cavaghan is to be • a bridesmaid at the Lamb —Bennett wedding this evening.
