The Australian Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, told the Press he was convinced the North American Continent could clo more than any other part of flic world to overtake Germany's enormous superiority in material, which was the enemy's only, superiority. "I have been very much struck by the unity of purpose of the Canadian people and their enthusiasm for the war effort,” Mr Menzies said. "As far as 1 can see everything possible is being done to aid Britain, and it is being done with increasing speed."
