OBITUARY
MR HENRY KING. The death occurred this morning of Mr Henry King, of 8 Grey Street. Masterton. The late Mr King was born in Dorset. England, 80 years ago. He came to New Zealand 51 years ago and worked on the late Dr Hosking’s farm on the Weraiti Road for two years. On returning to England he married there and remained in the Old Country for 11 years before again coming to the Wairarapa, where he had since resided. He followed the occupation of a gardener. He was an old and respected member and officebearer of the Masterton Methodist Church. Mr King is survived by a widow and two daughters, Mrs A. L. Bailey, of Dixon Street, and Mrs L. Hunt, of Auckland. The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving the residence, following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
