MOTOR VEHICLES
RELICENSING WELL UNDER WAY.
EARLY APPLICATION URGED TO AVOID DELAY.
The local Deputy Registrar of Motor Vehicles (Mr M. M. Simpson) slated today that the relicensing of motor vehicles for the ensuing year is proceeding satisfactorily and it is gratifying to note, he said, that the suggestion made in these columns recently that owners make application as early as possible has resulted in a decided increase in the numbers of applications dealt with so far this year, as compared with those for the same period last year. Owing to decreased staff, congestion during the last week is inevitable unless owners make early application, and it is in their own interests to do this so as to avoid delay and inconvenience later.
