DEATH FOR TREACHERY
ENGINEER SENTENCED AT OLD BAILEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, May 8. George Johnson Armstrong, aged 39, an engineer, was sentenced to death at the Old Bailey, after a trial in camera, for an offence under the Treachery Act. [This is the fifth death sentence under the Treachery Act. the others being an I alien and Mrs O'Grady on February 2.
