GUNNER L. J. PETERSEN. Gunner Lyle Joseph Petersen, son or Mr A. J. Petersen, 6 Casel Street, Masterton. who has been reported killed in action enlisted in Masterton on September 28, 1939. He left New Zealand as a member of the early drafts with the Anti-Tank Reinforcements, N.Z. Artillery. Gunner Petersen, who was wellknown in Masterton was an ex-pupil of the. Masterton Central School. He was employed by the Reliance Rebuilt Tyre Co., Masterton. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be expressed with his relatives in their bereavement.
