TVOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in; pursuance of the Wairarapa Counties Joint By-Laws Amendment ByLaw, 1930, the Wairarapa South County Council, by resolution dated the 24th day of April, 1941, has determined that, owing to weather conditions, the roads under its control within the County of Wairarapa South, described in the Schedule hereto, while fit for heavy traffic up to: — (a) Three tons in weight, in the case of the transportation of any motor vehicle, and (b) One and a-half tons avoirdupois in weight to each pair of wheels, in the case of the transportation of any other vehicle, engine or mechine — will be unfit for heavy traffic exceeding such weights during the period commencing on the 10th day of May, 1941. and ending on the 30th day of September, 1941, and has by the said resolution ordered that heavy traffic exceeding the said respective weights shall, during the said period, cease on the roads described in the Schedule hereunder. THE SCHEDULE. The road in the Maungaraki Riding known as the Wainuioru (or Wainuioru Valley) Road. The road in the Belvedere Riding known as the Maungatarere Valley Road. XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, N notwithstanding notice already published limiting the weights of traffic to three tons between May 1 and September 30. 1941. heavy traffic will be permitted and MUST detour through Jackson's Road, West Road and South Road, in accordance with detour notices placed at the corner of Jackson’s Road cn the Main Road, and at the over rail bridge at Mauriceville, pending the construction of Brookes Bridge, south of Mauriceville Station, until further notice.
