RECEIPTS & PAYMENTS
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY. A statement of the receipts and payments for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Masterton, for the year ending January 31, shows that cash in hand and in bank amounted to £B3 8s 5d and collections totalled £35 5s lid, donations £ll ,11s, Charity Ball proceeds £69 9s 4d, and Macarthy Trust, grant £5O, making the total receipts £249 14s Bd. Payments were made as follow: — Groceries, meat and milk, £222s 10d; clothing, £l9 19s 2d; wood and coal, £4 8s; food, lodging and fares. £8 2s 6d; cash relief, £7 ss; hospital expenditure, £74 12s; administration expenses, £3 6s lid; miscellaneous expenses £ll 18s 9d; grants. Makogai Leper Fund, £3; Ladies’ Branch St. Vincent de Paul Society, £10; Lord Mayor of London Relief Fund, £35; Christmas presents to hospital patients, Masterton, £3; Greytown, £3 0s 6d. The cash in hand and in bank at the end of the year was £43 15s.
